The G series is a low horsepower mixer drive which provides a practical solution for applications that for process or mechanical considerations preclude the use of fixed mount top entering mixers, yet do not justify the use of larger turbine mixers. Single reduction worm gear reducers are grease lubricated for life and use standard C face motors.
The N series offers a mid range drive which features a double reduction, all helical gear reducer. Low speed shaft is provided with drywell construction and cast iron housings are horizontally split to eliminate the possibility of lubricant leakage. NEMA C face motors are directly coupled to the reducer by a flexible coupling.
The L series utilizes a triple reduction, helical/bevel gear arrangement that is 96.5% efficient. Housings are manufactured of Gray cast iron with large output shafts and oversized bearings. The low speed shaft includes an oil leakage protection chamber, which traps any possible leakage through the quadrilip™ seal. Lubrication oil in the reservoir is automatically directed by splash to all bearings and gears with the exception of the lower output shaft bearing, which is grease lubricated. Drive incorporates a lower self-aligning spherical roller bearing to withstand the forces of mixer service for an extended L-10 bearing life.
The F series utilizes a double reduction, helical gear arrangement that is 96.5% efficient.
The M series is a heavy duty all inclusive drive for applications requiring up to 125 horsepower. The drive uses a double or triple reduction combination helical/spiral bevel gear reducer. The low speed shaft has dry well construction to eliminate the possibility of lubricant leakage. Housings are made of fabricated steel and include easy gear ratio change capability. Foot mounted or C face motors are flexibly coupled to the reducer.
